MAKE THE INVESTMENT
An investment in Notre Dame is an investment in your student’s future. Let us help you make a caring Catholic school education a reality. We recognize that not every family can afford the annual tuition and we offer several programs to make the investment manageable and affordable.
Notre Dame offers convenient payment plans to make the annual tuition manageable. Through FACTS tuition management, families are able to make monthly payments with 0% interest through automatic withdrawals. FACTS provides a convenient dash board where families can access and manage their tuition accounts.
Notre Dame recognizes that not every family can afford full tuition and we offer tuition reduction to families with demonstrated need. Families may apply for tuition assistance through FACTS to make a caring Catholic school education affordable. If you feel your family needs and qualifies for tuition reduction, please apply.*
*The Fifteen Percent Guideline provides that most families are eligible for Tuition Assistance to the extent that the total tuition due exceeds 15% of the family’s gross income. Generally, tuition reduction awards are not more than 50% of tuition due. Tuition Assistance awards are based on cumulative need and available resources.
Tuition Assistance needs are individual and vary from family to family. If your family has a particular hardship, please communicate with our Tuition Director. Extenuating circumstances are considered on a case by case basis.
RETURN ON INVESTMENT
An investment in your student’s education at Notre Dame will pay dividends in the form of better college acceptances, higher college scholarship offers, and unparalleled preparation for success in college. The ROI extends beyond college readiness with the formation of well rounded, caring, and giving young adults who reach their fullest potential.
TUITION ASSISTANCE FAQ
What kind of economic situation is typical of families who qualify for Tuition Assistance?
A wide range of families with a variety of circumstances qualify for Tuition Assistance. Many factors are evaluated, including income, assets, unusual expenses, special circumstances, and the size of the family.
How can I calculate my potential Tuition Assistance?
Total gross household income X 15% = estimated tuition investment. However, this is a GUIDELINE and we do take into account the variables mentioned above to address each unique financial situation, as well as available resources and school-wide needs.
Are some families awarded full Tuition Assistance?
No. Every family is required to make a financial investment in their students education. Our commitment to providing Tuition Assistance means that we are sharing in that investment with you. No family will receive Tuition Assistance that covers the entire cost of tuition.
Do I need to apply for Admission separately from applying for Tuition Assistance?
Yes. Application to Notre Dame High School and application for Tuition Assistance are two separate processes. You begin with the application for admissions, and then upon acceptance you may begin the Tuition Assistance application process.
Should every admitted family submit an application for Tuition Assistance?
No. Only families who feel that they may not be able to pay the full amount of standard tuition should submit a Tuition Assistance Application.
Will applying for Tuition Assistance hurt my student’s chance of being admitted to the school?
No. Admission applications and Tuition Assistance applications are evaluated separately, and an application for Tuition Assistance has no bearing on the admission process.
Upon completion of my Tuition Assistance application, when will I receive confirmation of my Tuition Reduction Award?
Typically within 3-4 weeks after submitting all required information.
Will I need to apply for Tuition Assistance every year?
Every family needs to reapply each year, as financial situations can change from year to year. Families that do not qualify for Tuition Assistance for a school year are encouraged to reapply the following year.
