One Heart, One Spirit...
A Caring Catholic School Culture
Notre Dame High School’s Campus Ministry program works in close cooperation with the Theological Studies Department and the Associated Student Body to foster a Catholic Christian spirituality on campus that enables and encourages students to respond to Christ and His call to Faith. Campus Ministry provides opportunities for worship through the celebration of the Eucharist as well as prayer services and opportunities for the celebration of Reconciliation.
Opportunities for continued conversion are an important aspect of faith and spirituality. Therefore, all students have the opportunity to engage in grade level retreats. Seniors will enjoy an off campus retreat during the spring term. The spiritual growth, reflection, and deepening of faith that can occur on retreat is an essential element of living out our Catholic Christian faith.
Students who feel called to serve Christ and their peers in a deeper way have the opportunity to participate in the Peer Ministry Program. This program is designed to deepen the faith and spirituality of the Peer Ministers themselves while training them to serve in ministry to others, especially their peers. Peer Ministers take an active role on campus in the organization and implementation of Campus Ministry projects and events while being an example of Christ to their peers.
